It’s right around the corner… It is MDE’s biggest fundraiser and fun-raiser of the year! It is a party for the adults which includes dinner, music, dancing, and a live and silent auction. It is being held on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at the Houston Racquet Club. This year is a Superhero Theme! EVERY penny from this event benefits EVERY student on campus and supports the many programs that our PTA supplements that are not funded by the district including, Spanish program, Reading Specialist, Technology Specialist, Science enrichment, Campus Beautification, and Teacher Appreciation to name just a few.

DONATE items for the Silent & Live Auction!!

Keep those fantastic auction items rolling in! If each family donates two items (big or small) to the general auction, our event will be SUPER! Our auction includes ALL types of items and many different price points; In the past we have had autographed memorabilia, event tickets, books, art, jewelry, spa packages, dinner out, movie passes, household items, trips. While out doing your shopping, entertaining and dining, carry an auction form with you. Ask those with whom you do business to donate an item of any size for our auction. It is important to remember that items of small value are just as important as expensive items because we often group them and create great packages out of them in combination with one another.

Watch out for a chance to participate in a raffle to win a VERY SOUGHT

Welcome to the Memorial Drive Elementary School PTA Web site. Our National Exemplary School is located in Piney Point Village, a small community inside the city limits of Houston, Texas. MDE typically has over 400 students enrolled, representing approximately 280 local families.

The MDE PTA is best known for our highly motivated and involved parent base. With 300 PTA members we are able to provide key enrichment programs, highly-skilled volunteers and a school year filled with fun and engaging events.
